Nutritional Advice for Neonatal Families

We are proud to have funded the production of an educational film to support our strong and brave Neonatal Families cared for at Glasgow's Royal Hospital for Children.

Premature babies and babies with breathing or digestive problems often need special help with their feeding.

Produced by What? Why? Children In Hospital , this video explores topics around parenteral nutrition, nasogastric tube feeding and the importance of breast milk for babies in the neonatal unit.

Hear first-hand from the wonderful parents Matt & Louisa who gave birth to their daughter Francesca at just 29 weeks and experienced the outstanding care of the Neonatal Team at Glasgow's Royal Hospital for Children.

The couple, who are also parents to two-year-old Isabella, hope to encourage more people to dig deep for the appeal which aims to raise £250k to fund state-of-the-art equipment for Glasgow's three Neonatal Units.
