Take on a charity running challenge in 2026 to support children in hospital.
Run the capital's marathon route for Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity and it will take you through Edinburgh’s old town and past some of the city's famous landmarks like the Scottish Parliament and Arthur's Seat, before continuing along the beautiful eastern coastline through Portobello, Musselburgh and Prestonpans and then turning towards the finish line.
We welcome the support of seasoned runners and running novices alike so get in touch if you're looking to take on this famous challenge in 2026.

Our suggested fundraising pledges are:
- 5k - £50
- 10k - £100
- Half Marathon - £250
- Marathon - £500
There's no entry fee for charity runners and we'll also send you a free running top if you reach £100.
You'll also be able to join our WhatsApp group of marathon runners to keep you motivated from your first training run to race day.
