When is Kami Bear's Teddy Trail?
Kami Bear's Teddy Trail takes place on Saturday 5th September 2026.
Where is the event being held?
The event starts and finishes at the Riverside Museum, Glasgow.
What time should I arrive?
Participants should arrive between 8:45am and 9:45am to allow time for registration and preparations.
Is there a warm-up?
Yes, a group warm-up will take place at 9:45am before the trails begin.
What time does the trail start?
10K Trail: 10:00am
5K Trail: 10:10am
What should I bring on the day?
Please bring:
- Your event t-shirt
- Your lanyard
- Your completed Emergency Contacts Card
- Your Trail Card
- Your favourite teddy bear, cuddly toy, or plush friend (not essential but encouraged)
Do I have to wear my event T-shirt?
Yes, we encourage everyone to wear their event t-shirt so team members and volunteers can easily identify participants.
What is the Trail Card for?
Your Trail Card helps you locate all of Kami Bear's birthday party items along the route.
What if I forget my Trail Card or lanyard?
Please speak to an event volunteer on arrival who will advise on the best solution.
Do I need to bring a teddy bear?
Yes. Kami Bear would love all guests to bring along their favourite teddy, cuddly toy, or stuffed animal to join the birthday celebration.
What if I don't own a teddy bear?
Don't worry. Participants can still take part and mini Kami Bears will be available to purchase on the day, while stocks last.
Can I bring more than one teddy?
Absolutely! Whether you bring one teddy or a whole teddy entourage, they're all welcome at Kami Bear's party.
Is parking available at Riverside Museum?
There is limited parking available at the museum, and spaces may fill up quickly. Please note this car park is ticketed/chargeable.
What are the alternative parking options?
If the Riverside Museum car park is full, you can use:
Bunhouse Road Car Park (beside Kelvin Hall)
On-street parking around Yorkhill
On-street parking in Govan
How can I get there by public transport?

The nearest stations are:
Govan
Partick - By Train or Bus
Partick Transport Hub is approximately a 10-minute walk from the Riverside Museum and offers excellent rail, subway, and bus connections.
Should I use public transport?
Yes. Due to limited parking, public transport is strongly recommended where possible.
Is the trail suitable for families?
Yes, Kami Bear's Teddy Trail is designed to be a fun family event suitable for supporters of all ages. The route is also wheelchair and buggy accssible, as well as being dog-friendly!
What happens when I complete the trail?
Participants should return to the event area, collect your special edition 25th birthday party medal, grab a bite to eat from the Rapid Relif Team, and enjoy Kami's birthday party celebrations at the Riverside Museum.
Who can I speak to if I need help on the day?
There will be event volunteers and trained marshals positioned throughout the route to provide guidance and assistance if needed. In addition, we will have designated front and back walkers accompanying participants to help ensure no one is left behind and that everyone can complete the trail safely and confidently.
What should I wear?
Comfortable clothing suitable for walking or running, along with your event T-shirt and appropriate footwear.
What happens if it rains?
The event will go ahead unless severe weather conditions make it unsafe. Participants should dress appropriately for the weather forecast.
What if I complete the trail at a slower pace?
That's absolutely fine. Our back walkers will remain with the final participants on the route, and our marshals will be available throughout the event to offer support and directions. We want everyone to enjoy the trail at their own pace.
