Steve Taylor, a Chartered Certified Accountant , and his wife Lynn, Finance Manager for Murray Taylor accountancy practice, have been volunteers for the Charity since 2013.
Their Grandson Myles was born with Congenital Heart Disease and spent all of his short life in Yorkhill Children’s Hospital. They were so moved by all the care and attention that Myles and their daughter Ashley received that they wanted to put something back for the Charity.
The couple from Montrose have been involved with the Charity’s Talk Service spreading the word about Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity in the North East of Scotland. The talk service has also allowed Steve and Lynn to keep Myles's memory alive through telling their family’s story.
Steve and Lynn are delighted to become Family Ambassadors for Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity and look forward to working even closer with the charity .
They have set up a Memorial Trust Fund for Myles and their aim is to raise funds for research into Congenital Heart disease so that more babies born with this condition will survive and enjoy a good quality of life.
