Kelly Macdonald

Kelly Macdonald is an award-winning actress who has appeared in Trainspotting, Nanny McPheeGosford ParkNo Country for Old Men and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part Two.  

Kelly provided the voice for Princess Merida in Brave.  She won an Emmy for The Girl in the Café and played Margaret Thompson in HBO's Boardwalk Empire

Kelly is married to musician Dougie Payne, the bassist of the rock band Travis. They have two sons, Freddie and Theo.  

Kelly has lent her backing to our Christmas Appeals and has helped to raise awareness both locally and nationally for the charity. 

Kelly is thrilled to be an Ambassador for Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity, stating that there is no better cause to represent than children.  As a mother of two young children, Kelly is determined to support a charity which wants to provide the very best care and treatment to Scotland's children.
