We're looking for confident volunteers to join our team of Volunteer Speakers to help spread the word about our work to support children in hospital in the West of Scotland.
About this role
As one of our Volunteer Speakers, you will attend a variety of events and organisations to talk to groups of supporters about the work of Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity.
This is a public speaking role where opportunities can arise throughout Scotland, both during the day and in the evenings to speak on behalf of the charity. Occasionally you may also be required to take along a selection of our branded goods to set up a display stand and sell our products at your Talk too.
Full training will be provided so that you can speak knowledgably about our work at the children's hospital and those we help.
What we're looking for
A confident speaker who doesn't mind working alone
Friendly and welcoming nature
Excellent communication skills and the ability to talk to all kinds of different people
Has a real passion for the charity and fully supports in its values
Full driving license and access to your own car

This is an ad hoc role however due to the training and refresher training given, we would ask that you commit to at least one talk every 6 weeks during the peak season (September to April).
